I got a chance to head out to The BASE here in El Paso and I have to say... It was AWESOME! It's basically a great group of guys playing baseball, helping each other get better. The atmosphere was amazing. They also have some great technology that will show you EVERYTHING you could possibly want to know.

One of those pieces of technology is HitTrax. This thing might be the coolest thing ever. Think of a baseball version of a golf simulator. You hit the ball in the cage and HitTrax records everything about the swing to track where the ball would go. It even lets you know if you got a hit or an out. They'll be using this for a tournament this coming up Sunday.

Here are the important details.

Be on the lookout for a future article with a video we shot at the base last week. Buzz had been bragging he could his 80mph throwing the baseball. So we had him test out his arm using all the tech they have at The BASE. Find out how he did later this week.
