The One and Only Problem I Have with Cinnamon Rolls in El Paso
We all love cinnamon rolls, right? They're delicious. I'm not into sweets too much, so when I actually get a hankering for some cinnamon rolls, I know that any of the great El Paso bakeries/panaderias will come in to save the day.
Nothing beats a hot and fresh cinnamon roll. While all the bakeries/ panaderias that I have frequented have always had delicious cinnamon rolls, there is one problem that I have encountered for years now. And I think I have contained my rage for as long as possible but it's time for me to get this off my chest.
STOP. PUTTING. RAISINS. IN. CINNAMON. ROLLS!!
Why are there so many raisins in all the cinnamon rolls that I get?!
I like raisins, don't get me wrong; I like them separately. I don't need a handful of raisins in my cinnamon roll, though.
And it never fails that whenever I try a new panaderia out, even though the cinnamon roll is delicious, it is stuffed with raisins!
Do I still get one and eat it? Yes, yes I do because I love cinnamon rolls and I love supporting local panaderias. But do I spend a majority of my time picking out the raisins? Also, yes. Sometimes I get lucky and it's only a few. Other times it's a few hundred!
And I know that I can make them myself, but I don't want to! They're better when they're from an El Paso panaderia. All I'm asking is for a non-raisin cinnamon roll to be an option at at least one panaderia. Thank you.
