You wouldn't think that one of the biggest waterfalls in the United States is found in Arizona, but it is. While Niagara Falls, Yosemite Falls & Yellowstone are home to some of the most famous waterfalls in the United States, Arizona also has been known to have one of the biggest ones in the country & it's found in one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world.

The Grand Canyon is where you'll find the biggest waterfall in Arizona

Yes it probably doesn't come as too much of a surprise that one of the biggest waterfalls in Arizona is found inside the Grand Canyon. In fact there are several different waterfalls inside the Canyon but the BIGGEST ones are found on the Havasupai Indian Reservation.

Havasu Falls, is the most known waterfall, sits at a staggering 100 ft. tall. However, the BIGGEST one is actually Mooney Falls. Named after a sailor, D.W. “James” Mooney, who sadly fell off the side of the falls, Mooney Falls stands at just under 200 ft. tall.

Today it's regarded as one of the most popular sites at the Grand Canyon. However if you plan on visiting, bring plenty of supplies for hiking because the journey is not the easiest to get to.
