Americans Try Absinthe for the First Time

These Americans are brave souls for trying a strong liqueur known as Absinthe! After a long ban, absinthe was made available in the U.S. in 2007.

This stylish way of drinking takes quite a bit of work to make a small drink that leaves you feeling like you did a whole day of drinking. In the past, absinthe claimed to be a hallucinogenic, but modern Absinthe is not. This strong liqueur is derived from a variety of flowers, plants and herbs.

These Americans followed each step to make this poison that would leave them feeling more than they thought they would feel. They did point out how fancy it was compared to how we drink in the states by shot gunning a beer.
