When did the band get together, and how?

I (Gil) founded the band in 2007 with Ernie Avila (now with Exit116) & Bernie Esparza (Brethren) and Gil Moya (now w/Texas Roadkill) and Adrian Espinoza (now making Hobbit movies) hahaha. . We decided to get something going and be a band that could be on the same page that wanted to do originals but still do covers in the scene . We decided to call the band "Aftermath" because of all that kaos and bs we had been through in previous bands. We were the aftermath of that bs.

da s**t!! Haha ...

Who are some of the bands that influence your music?

Slayer,Metallica, Ozzy, Sepultura, AC/DC, Foo fighters, Pantera

What is your most memorable gig so far?

There is 2... Locofest playing mainstage on the time slot we had while HellYeah was backstage. Got to hang with them and they were cool guys.

Opening for Dokken at Club 101. It was right after our first cd was out and it was a hell of a crowd that showed us love & support.

Are you currently signed to any kind of label or management?

We are not signed and as for managers... ummm we dont need one yet. haha

We've been in tons of bands from.....Tension,Whiskey Sour/Abinormal, Kravin, Something Wicked, Brethren, Jelousy Killz,

What other local bands would you recommend people check out?

Years of Cold,Texas Roadkill, Perabelum, Manjyna,Exit116, Outrage,The Nobodys, Vouyer, Turncoat, Sweetest Downfall, Rampage, Suicide Romance, Bash, there's just so many bands.
