We've all had dreams of becoming a famous rock star at one point in our lives. For one El Paso man, he's been living his dream by WORKING with rock stars; Erick Sanger.

Here's a little bit of El Paso's own Erick Sanger & the bands he worked for.

Weezer posted an appreciation reel on Instagram showing how hard Erick works as a drum technician for Weezer while on tour. it's hard work making sure the drums are set up and tuned just right but Erick knows what he's doing (he's been doing this for a long time!). You can see his name be credited in some of their music videos on YouTube as well.

Erick's official Linkedin profile shows that he's been working with Weezer since 2010. But they're not the only band he's worked with; he's also worked as a guitar technician for the band Spoon & for the Toadies as a drum/guitar technician (maybe we'll see him when the Toadies perform at Lowbrow Palace in October).

As stated by Erick himself on his own IG page, he's a proud El Pasoan. Erick is a former UTEP graduate; he earned his associates degree in Liberal Arts between 1991-1994 & as that same Weezer post was shared on FitFam, Erick graduated from Coronado High School. Erick can also be seen performing music with the bands Glass Shadows & Band Of Bastards. Erick was also the ORIGINAL bass player for Sparta in 2001, before Matt Miller took over in 2002.

We know Erick is living his dream playing music & being around rock stars so keep it up Erick! You're making everyone proud.
