Because tonight is the Grand Opening of KLAQ's Mansion of Death...in 3-D, I figure the best way to celebrate it is to offer you what is probably my favorite haunted house movie of all time! I went to see this movie based on the poster, I hadn't seen any trailers for it at all. I was expecting a science fiction story with Sam Neill and Laurence Fishburne, but what I got was an intense, amazing horror movie!
I love Halloween and scary movies! So much, that I watch scary movies all year long, I don't just save them for October. I know some people don't like them, but they're so much fun to watch! Especially today's horror movie: Prince of Darkness.
October is my favorite month, for a couple of reasons. One of which is Halloween, and all the embracing of scary and evil movies, books and more! I love scary movies, and will watch one whenever I get the chance. Here is my October 1st pick for a good scary movie you might not have seen:
For a guy who loves scary movies (like me), there's a bunch of cool stuff on the interwebs. Lots of independent filmmakers now have the chance to make the movies they want to make, and they don't really have to cater to the big movie companies, pay exorbitant wages to crap actors, union stuff, site fees (don't tell anyone)...you get the idea.
