There's one more day you can throw your support behind this adorable TSA working pooch and help him win the TSA's Cutest Canine Contest. With fewer Americans traveling through airports due to the coronavirus pandemic, TSA agents have more free time on their hands.

One of the ways the department is helping relieve some of their boredom is by celebrating National Dog Day with a fun contest celebrating some of their working dogs.

National Dog Day is happening on Wednesday, August 26th and the Transportation Security Administration is holding a "Cutest Canine Contest." They have narrowed down the competition to the top four dogs in the department and it's our time to vote the lone Texas pooch into the number one spot. Top four dogs in the TSA competition are:

  • Kajla from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport
  • Djanni from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
  • Lexa-Alexey from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
  • Ron from Oakland International Airport

The first match-up happened yesterday between Kajla and Djanni with Kajla coming out on top. Now, today is the day for you to vote for Lexa-Alexey of the DFW airport so she can move on to the next round of the competition. Voting ends tomorrow so make sure you get your vote in. You can vote for Lexa-Alexey on Twitter, Facebook, or on their Instagram story. You can find out more at the Cutest Canine Contest.
