What you might not know is just how fascinating the GOP primary race is for the Texas Railroad Commission. The incumbent candidate is Grammy-nominated gospel singer Wayne Christian, who is being accused of corruption per KBTX News. Another candidate is Marvin "Sarge" Summer, who actually passed away in a car crash while campaigning in Midland earlier this month.

Who is Sarah Stogner?

While there are plenty of interesting candidates in this particular GOP race the one people can't stop talking about is Sarah Stogner. Stogner is a 37-year-old oil and gas attorney who made headlines after she posted a Tik Tok video showing her in star pasties while riding an oil-pumping jack. The video is set to The Sugarhill Gang's "Apache (Jump On It)."

The video was posted on February 13th and has almost 50 thousand views. The video quickly went viral and was picked up by news outlets across the country.

The video shocked her supporters and was met with both support and disappointment. The Tik Tok video lost her the endorsement she got from the San Antonio Express-News editorial board, according to the Daily Mail. But Stogner also saw more people applauding her decision to post the video and bring awareness to a race that usually doesn't get a lot of attention in the Lone Star State.
