“The Texas Bucket List” Made Stop At Local Theater For New Season
El Paso is no stranger to television. We've been featured on many shows, one of them being "The Texas Bucket List". Many of our landmarks & restaurants have been mentioned on the show for years & they're making another stop to El Paso.

The 18th season of The Texas Bucket List started February 18th & according to the El Paso Times, The Blue Moon Drive-In movie theater is the next El Paso stop that will be featured on the next episode premiering this Sunday (Shane McAuliffe loves the horror art & so do I). The other locations featured will be Green Chili Willy's in Amarillo, TX & Beneventi’s Italian in Mingus. You can see the teaser video they published on their Facebook account:
The Blue Moon was closed during the pandemic but it reopened last year in June. For those who haven't been to The Blue Moon, it's located at 512 San Marcial & is part of Monteleone's Haunted Motel & Restaurant (That was featured on the show back in 2019). Despite being called a "drive-in", people can come sit down at picnic tables & watch movies outdoors.
As I mentioned before, Shane McAuliffe with The Texas Bucket List has come to El Paso (and Fabens) many times since 2016, visiting over a dozen different locations:
Dave's Pawn Shop, Season 5 Episode 6 [2016]
Season 6, Episode 5: Rosa's Cantina [2016]
Season 7, Episode 7: Panda Burger [2016]
Season 7, Episode 8: Hueco Tanks State Park [2016]
Season 8, Episode 9: Wyler Aerial Tramway [2017]
Season 9, Episode 6: National Border Patrol Museum [2017]
Season 9, Episode 11: Chico's Tacos [2017]
Season 10, Episode 10: H&H Car Wash [2018]
Season 12, Episode 3: Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens [2019]
Season 13, Episode 7: Monteleone's Ristorante [2019]
Season 14, Episode 10: Great American Steakburger [2020]
and finally Season 17, Episode 2: Lucy's Restaurant [2021]
The episode featuring El Paso's Blue Moon Drive-In Theater will be shown on CBS 4 this Sunday at midnight & it'll be the 15th El Paso location show on The Texas Bucket List. Now I just need to set my tv to record the episode when I get home...
