El Paso Bat Company Takes Center Stage on the Texas Bucket List
The Texas Bucket List is celebrating 20 seasons of showing off some amazing locations, landmarks & restaurants around the Lone Star State. And of course that includes El Paso, Texas. Before we've seen a total of 14 locations featured on the show like Rosa's Cantina, Hueco Tanks & of course Chico's Tacos. Now we can add a 15th El Paso spot: the Overfly Powerbull Bat Co.
Where is the Overfly Powerbull Bat Co in El Paso?
Located at 512 W Paisano, the Powerbull Bat Co has been a very popular bat manufacturing company located in West El Paso. The company was founded in 2003 by Raul Salazar in Chihuahua, Mexico before moving to El Paso. In 2018 it was acquired by Overfly Sports. Today the company makes bats used by major & minor league baseball players, one being Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres.
On September 19th, The Texas Bucket List's YouTube channel uploaded the segment where they visited the Overfly Powerbull Bat Co. & sat down with co-owner Kurt Gross. Kurt shared his story on how he got into the business of bat making & explained the importance on choosing El Paso to make professional baseball bats. They even included clips of the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball team playing.
You can see the whole Overfly Powerbull Bats segment below.
I think some locations The Texas Bucket List needs to visit are L&J Café, the Plaza Theater & Concordia Cemetery.
Thanks for featuring El Paso again & congrats on 20 seasons! We look forward to seeing you guys again soon.
