I try my best to look at all aspects of issues. See everything from both sides. I can't seem to find a valid argument that helps support the anti-maskers though. I believe in your right to protest something you don't believe in. I also believe in your right to think however you want. But the anti-mask argument doesn't hold water.

First, lets start with the silly part of the argument. 'It's violates my rights!' No, it doesn't. We have laws for a reason. There's a reason you aren't allowed to go 110 MPH on the freeway. There's a reason you aren't allowed to drink and drive. There's a reason businesses have to pass inspections. It's to keep people safe. You might want to speed down the road after slamming 10 shots of Jager, but you can't because you're putting lives in danger. The same goes by not wearing a mask. Studies continue to prove that wearing a mask helps prevent the spread of COVID-19. Just CLICK HERE for a study done on wearing masks and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Another popular thing to say by the anti-maskers is that it can cause hypoxia, hypoxemia, and hypercapnia. That's just a fancy way of saying that masks reduce oxygen intake and increase the risk of carbon dioxide toxicity. Well, I hate to break it to you but that's simply not true. CLICK HERE for more info on how bogus those claims are.

So take that information into account. Take out the politics of the situation and remove an previous bias you might have. I know, that's a pretty tall task to ask for. That's just the nature of bias. But seriously, take all of that into account, and then try to tell me wearing a mask violates your rights.
