Masks! We all know we need to wear them even when going to the movies. As uncomfortable as they may be, they're a necessity and a new way of life. Movie theaters are starting to open and while it's nice to have something normal to do, masks are definitely still required.

A couple of weeks ago, we saw Tom Cruise perform yet another high risk stunt himself, he went to the movies to urge people to go back to the movies- mask and all.

Now, Alamo Drafthouse is commemorating the newest fashion accessory by hosting a movie masquerade for the month of September! Each week they'll bring out fan favorite films that feature heroes (or villains) living their best (or worst) lives behind fabric (or rubber, or... other things). Here's what's featured:
BATMAN (1989)
LABYRINTH
THE MASK
SPIDERMAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE .
SET IT OFF
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
THE MASK OF ZORRO
SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
FACE/OFF
TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE
SCREAM
BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM

Each movie will feature an iconic mask, just in time for spooky season!

You can buy movie tickets by clicking here. From the looks of it, tickets cost $10. Alamo Drafthouse is doing buffered seating throughout the theater as a means to social distance- meaning when you choose your seat they'll automatically place buffer seats on either side of your selected seats that will be unavailable for purchase.

Extra precautions are being taken by Alamo Drafthouse, like temperature checks, sanitizing stations and as well, as usual, all workers will be wearing masks.
