The First Baptist Church made sure those who were taken in the deadly mass shooting were remembered. The church was transformed into a memorial one week after the shooting occurred.

Inside Edition gives you a quick walk through of what the memorial looks like inside. After the shooting, they had planned on fixing up the horrific reminder of what happened that day. They cleared out the church and repaired what was damaged then painted the entire room white. This memorial is quite special based on how they showed condolences to the ones lost. The inside of the church has 26 chairs painted white with each victims name and a rose placed on the chair. Visitors will be allowed to visit the memorial to find peace, closure and remember those that were taken.

But it also may take time for those who witnessed the massacre to visit the memorial at the place it all happened.
