Texas Senator Cornyn Confused About Puerto Rico and Elections

I'm going to start off by saying this, I am not a Democrat, nor am I a Republican. I am a proud Independent. I believe both parties make valid points and we would be better off if they actually worked together. But they don't want to work together because making the other side the enemy gets them votes. That's how Trump has been able to get a large amount of supporters who will support him through thick and thin. The other side is the enemy. But that's a conversation for another time. Right now, we're talking about the "genius" that is John Cornyn. The Senator from Texas has been in his position since 2002. He is firmly in the camp of "we need to allow President Trump to exercise all of his legal options" and he continues to prove he does not care about democracy or the American people.

There's one big problem with this. Puerto Rico doesn't vote in our Presidential election. Of course Cornyn claims he knew this with a follow up tweet.

Umm, sure John. If that's the case, wouldn't you put that in the tweet, letting people know that ahead of time? Of course, anyone supporting President Trump's bogus claims of widespread voter fraud are only continuing to show that not only are they intellectually challenged, but they don't care about democracy or the United States of America. This is not a move to save democracy. It's a move to tear it down to keep a dictator in office. Plain and simple.
