Check out some great videos with Stone Sour behind the scenes and back stage on their current tour with In This Moment. They meet fans, do soundcheck, buy coffee and talk about the road and the studio. And get a load of Josh Rand's kick-ass Flotsam and Jetsam T-shirt!
I had always wanted to see three certain bands go on tour together and it finally is going to happen. I know for a fact this is going to be a bad ass show when it is Shinedown, Three Days Grace along with special guest P.O.D.
Mark Tremonti has hit the road for his first solo tour, with his new band and Wolfgang Van Halen on bass. He's filming seemingly everything that's going on during the tour, and is posting them up on his YouTube channel and Fret12 (which is his guitar-geek channel).
Godsmack is out killing the Uproar Tour right now, and they've been releasing weekly backstage footage from the road, including their ritual 8:15 tequila shot. Episode three has now come out, including some footage of their drummer Shannon's tour troubles. Broken ribs and a stick across the face doesn't even slow him down!
Slash announced some headlining dates for the US today, and there is, unfortunately, no show schedule listed for El Paso or Las Cruces. (This is where I'd insert a sad face if this were a text or something) But if you don't mind a little road-trip, you can check out Slash with Foxy Shazam near here:
The big news this week has been about Van Halen canceling a large chuck of their tour, including the El Paso date in September. We have all been joking around about the reasons why, and I thought, "What do other people think?"
I've listed some reasons why they might have cancel-I mean postponed the dates. Which one is your favorite?
Lacuna Coil continue to issue personal updates informing fans of what’s going on in their world. The latest came in the form of a two-minute video courtesy of beautiful frontwoman Cristina Scabbia. The lovely singer filmed the clip while getting ready for a gig in Sardinia. She was sequestered in the bathroom while she shared some news about the band’s forthcoming Dark Legacy tour.
Van Halen have released their first new album since the failed experiment with Gary Cherone in the 90's, and it's called "A Different Kind of Truth". Pick it up now, there are a lot of old style songs on there (since the story is they've taken a lot of old demos and reworked them for the CD).
The really good news is they're touring, and things haven't imploded yet!
Escape the Fate and Attack Attack! are joining forces to co-headline the This World Is Ours Tour, which will also feature the Word Alive, Mest and Secrets.
