Hey guys! Well just al little insight about myself and who I am. I was born in El Paso but was raised in Fabens, TX, where I still live in and call home. I’ve always been told that I don’t look much like a rocker chick and I can’t exactly pinpoint when I started listening to rock but I can assure you the first time was to KLAQ. Growing up I never had any say so on what was played on our radio at home because my older brother was a metal head, and was always jamming out to KLAQ, so I guess I can say that he had a lot to do for my love of rock and music. I remember when I was seven actually having a head banging contest with my BFF. I couldn’t lift my head for days after that. Today you can still catch me head banging down the hallway at home, singing, and doing karaoke all around town and yes, I do sing rock. Well…How the hell did I get on KLAQ. As a communications major I applied for an internship at KLAQ. I got rejected. Then they had a competition called “Take Scott Ronson’s Job” so I tried out and didn’t win. L I later received a call back telling me they had an opening and were interested in me so the ball began rolling from there. Now I work here and get paid for it. YEAH! IN YOUR FACE!
