The lead singer of Theory of a Deadman Tyler Connolly spent some time in New York at Times Square asking a simple question: Do you know me? The following responses he got were quite hilarious.
Checking the Cruising the Clubs list for tonight, I see one of favorite bands is playing at the House of Rock, Worm-Hole from our neighbors up the road, Las Cruces. It's another multi-band bill, so score another one for me! Looking at the listed time, and seeing 8p as the start time, I think , "That's a bit odd, shows normally don't start til after 9 usually."
I posted the other day that I was going to start hitting up more bands regularly and writing features on them here at KLAQ.com. Tonight is my first night out for official feature writing for bands, and there are a lot of choices of where to go:
Beginning this Friday, I want to begin hitting up more shows. But more than just checking out some bands I know of, I want to discover some of the bands playing that I may not know, get some pics, shoot some video and tell everyone else about them, too!
Let's make this something cool.

Balloonfest 2011 - Day 2
Day 2 started off with a bunch of balloons taking off from Santa Teresa Country Club in the morning, a great balloon day! Then we again took the party over to Wet N Wild for fun on the water rides all day, and great live rock from more of El Paso's great bands! Double Threat, Full Bloom, Outbreak, The Nobodys, Hillside Gamblers, King Octopus and The Third Edge rocked the B
