It's always great when bands can bring up a guest collaborator from their album during a tour stop and that's exactly what happened when Adrenaline Mob took the stage during a recent show in Nashville. Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale made a surprise appearance, reprising her vocals on 'Come Undone' from the band's debut album 'Omerta' and then sticking around to cover Heart's 'Barracuda.'
Former Dream Theater stick-man Mike Portnoy recently gave fans an inside look into his quarter-century career with the band and how, despite his exit, he is more than okay with being referred to as “Mike from Dream Theater.”
Adrenaline Mob are set to drop their new album ‘Omertá’ on March 13 and now, for fans that can’t wait that long, the band is offering up a taste of two new songs, ‘Feelin’ Me’ and ‘Angel Sky.’
A short while ago, Adrenaline Mob, the band featuring Mike Portnoy (formerly of Dream Theater and Avenged Sevenfold), Russell Allen (of Symphony X) and guitarist Mike Orlando announced that their bass player and second guitarist were leaving due to prior commitments with their other bands. They also teased that they were auditioning a new bass player that people knew pretty well.
Adrenaline Mob have announced a March 13 release date for their new full length album ‘Omertá.’ The new release follows the self-titled EP they dropped in August.
Been wondering what Mike Portnoy has been doing since leaving Dream Theater and Avenged Sevenfold?
He's been recording a few albums, one of which is with one of my favorite singers, Russell Allen from Symphony X. They have a new band called Adrenaline Mob, and they covered Sabbath's "The Mob Rules".
