It's spooky season in El Paso and there are lots of spooky things going on around the Borderland to help you get your Halloween on.

Halloween Town, an art show and market, is bringing loads of Halloween fun to the El Paso County Coliseum. Kids can even trick or treat at the event ... kids ONLY, umm kay? ... while the "big kids" shop.

There will be all kinds of activities for all ages at this annual event which takes place  October 19th from 4pm - 9pm. For more info, click here.

The first 50 kids get a free gift, there will be live music and admission is FREE. Peeps can also win prizes in the costume contests. There will be several categories: babies, kids, teens, adults and "best in show".

There will be a pumpkin carving contest too. You must have your, already carved, pumpkin entered and on display by 5:30pm. Winners will be announced right after the costume contests.

What Else Is There To Do During Halloween Season In El Paso?

In addition to Halloween Town, you can also visit the KLAQ Haunted House(s) of Terror on the east side. Yes, houses ... plural. There are 2 this year, one at 13900 Montana, site of Desert Warriors Paintball, and the other is at 2155 Joe Battle.

The 39th annual KLAQ Halloween Parade will also take place Thursday, October 31st. It starts and ends at Album Park following pretty much the same route every year. Check out the route from last year here. It starts at 3:30 and always falls on Halloween, (10/31), never before or after.

Spooktacular, a children's carnival and costume contest takes place in the El Paso County Coliseum Saturday, October 26th from 10am - 8pm.
