Mötley Crüe's drummer Tommy Lee has gone viral for an open letter he posted on Twitter, but it turns out, Lee didn't write the letter. Lee is known for not mincing his words on many subjects in the past, and not surprisingly he isn't the biggest fan of the country's commander-in-chief. The worldwide pandemic has forced many bands to cancel their spring and summer tours but Mötley Crüe hasn't canceled their upcoming reunion tour. The tour is set to kick off in Miami on June 7th and the band hasn't commented on whether or not they plan to continue with the tour, according to Metal Castle.

Many around the country are spending their days isolated at home watching the news seeing how fluid the COVID-19 situation is. It seems like Tommy Lee has finally had enough of President Trump's speeches on the Coronavirus and unloaded on him through an open letter posted on Twitter. Many gave the drummer credit for writing the scathing note but it was comedian Sarah Silverman who pointed out that the letter was written by someone else. According to Blabbermouth, Silverman points out that the true author of the letter is Alduous Penny:

Still, many are thankful for Lee bringing the letter to the public's attention and voicing the words many have been thinking. Check out the entire letter and tweet below:
