What a crazy year it has been indeed over at Taco Bell. They keep taking away and bringing back their menu items that it's been hard to keep track. That Mexican Pizza, however, seems to never make a return.

The newest menu item to be taken away is the Quesalupa. The Quesalupa, for those not in the know, is a quesadilla-chalupa hybrid that was a chalupa shell with melted mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, seasoned beef and reduced-fat sour cream- it was actually pretty good!

This will be the second time that the Quesalupa will be leaving the Taco Bell menu, leaving once again, a void in the hearts of many.

The Quesalupa had been introduced in 2016  in connection with “Controlla” by Drake. Then it went away and was reintroduced in March that guaranteed an brand new recipe and 50% more cheese than the original!

Taco Bell does say it's important to act on it now, because it's going away at the end of the month, and in some locations, it's already gone!

To recap, back in August of 2020, Taco Bell removed a bunch of other items- which included a lot of their potato menu items. At the time, Taco Bell's reason for the changes in menu was due to, of course, the pandemic. It was an effort to simplify their menu amid the on going pandemic. But Taco Bell does say that their menu is entirely customizable- so you can always order to your liking.

Of course, much like the Nacho Fries, it's possible that if many people rally on the internet for the revival of the Qusalupa, it may make a comeback in the future- you never know!
