It was 4 years ago when my friend Karla and I explored the underground school bus. If you're just finding out about this, yes, there's a school bus that is buried underneath the ground. The underground school bus is located on the far Eastside of town.

You can consider it a mini road trip out to the boonies. It's crazy because out there in that area you can actually see the other set of mountains. It was on this day I asked my friend Karla to join me to scope out the underground school bus.

I wanted to take one for the team that was too scared to see the underground school bus for themselves. Plus, the entrance to the school bus underground had a ladder and wooden pole provided to climb in and out. You can see a picture of the entrance featured above these sentences. Granted, we had visited the site during the late afternoon instead of the late-night hours. If you too have also been down inside the bus then you know what was down there.

But there are others who have always heard about it but never been to or seen it up close and personal. Not sure if things have changed since the last time I went out there to record the video below. It was on this day 4 years ago when Karla and I filmed the video of the underground school bus.

We all know a lot can happen over a long time frame of 4 years since 2017. In 2019, I had gone back for a visit and noticed they had closed off that section of 2019. They had fenced the area surrounding where the underground school bus as you can see by clicking here.

Not sure if the underground school bus still exits since my last visit in 2019. But it sure was nice to scope out something that has been a part of spooky El Paso stories.
