2020 has been a trying time for all of us, we have all experienced eye-opening and tough challenges along the way. The social injustices, COVID-19, and the election coming up have taken a toll on many of us Including Frank Pain is a radio DJ in Abilene, Texas.

The Ride for Change will be 2,200 Miles, 11 Cites, and the Painman on his motorcycle showing Texas that we need to be the change we want to see in our communities. Check out the video below

Now is the time where we can show the world the difference we can make in our own towns. The goal is to raise $11,000 which will provide a $1000 scholarship for each city including Amarillo. The more we donate the bigger the scholarships will be.

You can donate any amount of money to the GoFundMe page and trust when we say anything helps. If you are unable to donate a simple share of the GoFundMe or this article will help raise awareness.

The Ride for Change: Tremaine Brown Scholarship

We have the honor of naming the Amarillo scholarship The Ride for Change: Tremaine Brown Scholarship. We met Tremaine after hearing about everything he does for the Amarillo community.

Tremaine Brown and his family who own Shi Lee's BBQ on 3rd street have done so much for the community of Amarillo. Since COVID-19 hit the panhandle Shi Lee's BBQ has given out 70,000 lunches to those in need. The school children needed to eat and Shi Lee's was the first stop to offer lunch for local kids.

He's made sure Christmas trees are stocked with presents for kids and mouths are fed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tremaine is the definition of #BeAGoodHuman and we are honored to have his name attached to The Ride for Change.

BUT We Need Your Help

We have set up a Go Fund Me page to take donations for these 11 scholarships. We need to raise $11,000 for the minority scholarship fund, even just a $1 helps. We know during these times finances are tight, so if you are unable to donate a simple share of this article will go a long way and raise awareness of the cause.

Above is the link to the GoFundMe page and a blurb from the Painman himself on his mission. We are so excited to be apart of this journey and we hope you will join us in not only the cause but to be the postive change in the community

Don't forget #BeAGoodHuman
