Police in Dallas arrested 25-year-old Oscar Sanchez Garcia on Wednesday concerning the deaths of three alleged sex workers.

The first victim was 60-year-old Kimberly Robinson whose body was found in a field in a southern Dallas neighborhood in April.

The second victim's body, 25-year-old Cherish Gibson, was found in a similar area two months later. Police were able to track her last moments at an adult bookstore, and the owner told WFAA she was seen on surveillance video inside the store.

The third victim was also found in a field on July 15th. That woman has yet to be identified but police say all three women's bodies were found in the same Oak Cliff neighborhood near the Trinity River in Dallas, per USA Today.

The Dallas Police Department said two of the victims had ties to sex work, and they wanted to warn the public about the disturbing trend, according to NBC DFW.

Law enforcement hasn't revealed what evidence led to Sanchez Garcia being arrested but said he became a suspect during the preliminary investigation into the string of murders.

Police also haven't revealed a motive for the slayings, but head to the NBC DFW website for more information as it is revealed.

There have been several high-profile arrests for suspected serial killers across the country in recent months.

New York architect Rex Heuermann was arrested for the decade-old Gilgo Beach murders last week, and police in Texas believe 62-year-old Raul Meza Jr. could be responsible for over 12 different homicides.

He is currently serving time for the 1982 killing of an 8-year-old girl, per USA Today.
