No Cell Phones At The Jack White Concert

Jack White is coming to El Paso and, if you plan on going, you'll have to check your cell phone at the door.

Jack White performs in the Coliseum Wednesday, September 19th.  Tickets go on sale toomorrow, (6/22), via Ticketmaster outlets and phones aren't welcome.

Maynard Keening kicked people out of the El Paso A Perfect Circle show for using their phones. White, however, is giving you a choice. Either don't bring your phone or, have it locked up. You keep it with you, it will just be locked in a bag called a Yondr. These bags only open in certain areas of the venue when touched to a base unit.

Of course, once you're in the designated area, you can always throw the freakin' bag away. Or, hide your device in your undies until you clear security.  Now, if he could figure out a way to make phones totally stop functioning altogether, he might get a 100% phone-free environment. This, however, just seems like a big inconvenience. A pain in the ass that won't, fully, achieve its goal.
