This could be a game changer in terms of luring potential UTEP students north!

The New Mexico State University campus in Las Cruces now has a bar, Pete's Patio, and a restaurant is coming soon. All kidding aside, it wasn't opened to cash in on the drinking habits of college students ... not entirely anyway.  The local bar and restaurant business in the area is thriving with lots of options like Bosque Brewing Company, Dublin's Street Pub and many more.

While being on campus and, apparently, offering very affordable drinks is a convenience for NMSU students and staff, the public is totally welcome to try Pete's Patio. After all, in addition to making on campus life a little cooler, NMSU is also after their share of local eating and drinking dollars!

A restaurant is also planned and should be open by April 1st, click here for more info.
