Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep in an actual cave? Well, in Farmington, New Mexico, you don't have to wonder anymore! For those who are looking to venture outside of a Hilton or Holiday Inn, there's a cave waiting for you!

Kokopelli's Cave Bed and Breakfast in Farmington, New Mexico allows you to experience a night in an actual cave that will make you feel like you're living in an episode of "The Flintstone's".

Kokopelli's Cave is man made and was drilled and dynamite blasted and is approximately 1700 sq. feet. The cave itself is located 70 feet below the surface of vertical cliffs- and to get to the actual entrance you have to hike to it; so it's truly an adventure right from the start!

Because you'll have to hike to it, they advise you to pack lightly, as in just take a backpack; you don't want to be hauling around rolling luggage or a duffel back through the hike! They also don't allow pets as there is already, what they call, an "abundance of critters" around the cave.

The good thing about packing lightly is that when you get to the cave, it looks like you have all that you need for a relaxing stay. There's a spa-inspired bathroom.

And a living room where the temperature stays between 68° and 73° year around- so you're not too hot or too cold.

The cave itself was originally intended to be an office for owner and geologist Bruce Black; but that didn't work out so instead he turned it into this unique stay that is highly reviewed.
