National French Fry Day Will Still Go on Despite Covid-19
National French Fry Day isn't backing down from celebrating their food holiday as other places have. According to USA Today, a couple of places decided not to participate on their annual traditions. 7 Eleven decided to cancel their free slurpee day to continue to practice social distancing. 7 Eleven also said if you're a member of the 7 Eleven rewards program you will receive a voucher for a free medium slurpee that can be redeemed this month. 7 Eleven wasn't the only place that put a halt on their annual celebration. Chik-fil-A's annual Cow Appreciation Day has been postponed due to Covid-19. If you dressed up like a cow you would receive free food from Chik-Fil-A. Luckily for us, National French Fry Day is still a go and certain places are celebrating.
There are a few fast-food places participating on National French Fry Day today. The places you can get your fry fix is at Burger King, KFC, McDonald's, and Wendy's. I love the way the criss cut fries from Carl's Jr. and Chik-fil-A taste. Burger King is offering their large fries for $1 on their BK.app. As for KFC, they're selling individual orders of fries for just 30 cents with any purchase. The one place you will score a free order of fries is only from McDonald's. You can scoop up an order of medium fries with their app and no purchase is necessary. Finally, Wendy's will give you a $1 off their large fries with mobile order. It is up to you where you decide to choose where you will celebrate National French Fry Day today.
