Ah, French fries. They're delicious. They can be added to almost any meal for about $1. A basket of fries is $3.29 at McDonald's right now, just saying. I am a lover of fries, and I don't believe I've ever met a fry I didn't like, however, I think we can all agree that not all French fries are created equal.

There are different types of fries that now, the internet is in a bit of a tizzy after Food Network proposed the question: eliminate a French fry shape forever: classic, crinkle, curly or waffle?

As I sat and thought about it- I did have an answer. I would eliminate waffle fries.

That's right, I am not a fan of waffle fries- don't try to persuade me that Chik-Fil-A has great waffle fries, because when I do get them they are soggy and I think we can all agree that soggy fries are not good.

Over on their Twitter- the responses range from a bunch of crinkle haters to curly haters.

The original Food Network Tweet has generated over thousands of comments and over nine thousand likes. Which fries would you eliminate?

Whether you're team curly or team crinkle, fries are still number one in my heart. If you're a Texan and wonder what the number one fry is in the Lone Star state- it's no surprise- it's the Whataburger fries
