One of the most recognizable NAACP civil rights activists in Spokane, Washington Rachel Dolezal is under fire for lying about her heritage. During an interview by KXLY4 reporter Jeff Humphrey, he asked her if she was African-American and she walked away from the interview.

On Thursday, Humphrey was interviewing Dolezal when he pulled out a photo of her father and asked if that was her father. She freaked out and just attempted to say yes that's my father. When Humphrey asked her if she was African-American, she couldn't understand the question and simply walked away.

Dolezal is the leader of Spokane's local NAACP chapter, a adjunct professor at Eastern Washington University, and a freelance columnist. According to Dolezal's mom, she is actually Czech, Swedish, and German, with some Native American heritage.

The Help.
