We know that Texas cops caught some crazy dashcam videos from the 90s but things would only get crazier in the next decade. Here are 5 examples that show how crazy it was for Texas cops in the 2000's.

In 2002, these Texarkana cops pull over someone suspected on who might've been drinking too much. The suspect proceeds to flee...on his horse.

Yeah that didn't work. The man was caught and arrested for evading arrest & public intoxication. Maybe he shouldn't try to run from the cops with a ride that has only 1 horsepower...

These Texas cops find themselves in a pursuit & a deadly shootout in 2004

In Richardson, Texas, police respond to a bank robbery and come across a red Suburban with 3 suspects inside. When the cops pulled up to the SUV, they were met with intense gunfire. The suspects were eventually caught; police discovered these guys were responsible for over 70 robberies in the Dallas area.

The Richardson incident was caught on multiple police dashcams.

This bridge won't stop this Texas suspect from trying to escape

Joseph Flores & his girlfriend, were being chased by police in Fort Bend, Texas. The wildest part of the chase was not the fact that his girlfriend fired upon the pursing officers, it was what happened after Joseph's truck crashed. Joseph got out of the truck and fled...by jumping off a bridge.

Obviously he survived the fall and was arrested shortly afterwards. He & his girlfriend were charged with aggravated robbery & attempted murder.

After pulling over a big rig in Spring, Texas, these officers were reminded that anything can happen on the highway. Like a pickup truck coming out of NOWHERE and slamming into their parked cars. Everyone survived the crash.

Never forget the "psychic" Texas state trooper

Probably one of the craziest police videos I've ever seen came out of Seguin, Texas in 2000. A state trooper pulled over a woman driving a little too fast on the freeway and the officer warns the woman to stay off the shoulder because she could get hit by a car.

That warning would become quite prophetic...
