Movie Monster Madness – The First Four Battles

October is here! Which means it's time for horror movies. And what better way to celebrate than to find out which movie monster is the greatest? We're starting with 32 total movie monsters, and you get to vote in every match up until we have just one monster left. We're going to start with the first four battles. Today through Thursday, we're going to have a new set of four match ups. Each set of match ups will be available to vote on for five days. So today's four battles wrap up on Friday at 8am Mountain Time.

Here are the first eight monsters:

• Freddy Kreuger - He has haunted your dreams, spanning multiple movies, a crossover movie with Jason Voorhees, and even a reboot with Jackie Earle Haley taking the reigns as Krueger.
• Pumpkinhead - There have been four movies with Pumpkinhead, starting in 1988 and the latest movie released in 2007.
• Wolf Man - One of the move famous movie monsters, there have been lots of versions of the Wolf Man, including when we found out 'Wolf Man's got nards' in Monster Squad.
• Norman Bates - A very unassuming momma's boy with a killer side.
• Xenomorph (Alien) - In space, no one can hear you scream and of course, for the first round I had to put Alien vs...
• Predator - This is one of those first round match ups you can't wait to see who wins. There have been a lot of Alien vs Predator stories released.
• Jigsaw - I once made an argument that Jigsaw wasn't technically a bad guy. He was, in fact, helping people fix their lives. I didn't win that argument.
• Ghostface (Scream) - Many people have worn the Ghostface mask, and you might have a favorite, but you don't need to pick to vote for Ghostface in this poll.
