Mother’s Day Celebrations Are Better Out and About or Indoors?

Today is a special day that celebrates one of the most important roles in a child's life. First, I would like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the women and even men playing the motherly figure. We didn't expect to be limited to the plans we had set in our mind before Covid-19. Although, some places have opened some people still don't feel quite as secure yet. I am actually part of those people who won't be venturing out on Mother's Day today.

Usually every Mother's Day my family takes me out to dine at the restaurant of my choice. I always enjoy either eating at Red, Lobster, Olive Garden, or The Great American. Unfortunately, Covid-19 is crashing more than just weddings since a lot has been put on hold. So this Mother's Day is going to be a little different but more relaxed. I remember always dressing my very best on a day like today to celebrate with my family. This time around, I will be celebrating Mother's Day in pajamas, building forts, and vegging out with my kids.

Normally some are used to having big family gatherings for times like these. Because of Covid-19, social distancing is still required which changes plans for Mother's Day. I remember Mother's Day plans for the years before seemed more chaotic than now. There are so many things that have to be done if you're celebrating Mother's Day out and about. For example, Remembering to make a reservation, get dolled up, get the kids dressed in their Sunday best, and more. But this time around you can just keep it relaxed and fun for the kids too. I am pretty sure Olive Garden wouldn't be cool if my kids and I showed up to eat and started building a fort to eat under.
