Man Shot And Killed Over Lebron James Shoes

I know here in El Paso, women take shoe sales seriously. In Atlanta, it's the guys you have to watch out for.

NBA Champ Lebron James has his own line of shoes out and they officially went on sale this weekend.  People waited in line for hours hoping to get one of only 22 pairs of the $180 shoes (which, in all honesty, are ugly as hell) available at a store in Atlanta.

A pickpocket decided to work the line a little and picked the wrong pocket.  His intended victim pulled a gun, shot (and killed) the crook, then .... got right back in line!!

According to a story up at yahoo.com,

One man in line outside Wish, a clothing and shoe store on Moreland Avenue, pulled out a gun and shot the would-be robber.

The shooter then got back in line.

No charges have been filed and the shooting is considered to have been in self defense.

A witness who was also in line at the time, Taylor White, said:

He [the shooter] really stood up for all of us.” “I salute the homie that did that.”

We'll see how all this works out.  What I really want to know is, did the shooter (and/or Taylor) get a pair of shoes??
