Las Cruces Offers Free Virus Testing For Essential Workers

Essential workers in Las Cruces can get free COVID 19 tests this Thursday.

The city of Las Cruces is offering workers deemed "essential" the chance to be screened for COVID 19 free of charge. The free tests will be given Thursday, (4/23), at the Las Cruces Public Health Office, located at 1170 N. Solano from 7am - 12 Noon or while supplies last. (Emphasis on "while supplies last".)

The tests are open to all essential workers, with or without showing symptoms of COVID-19. Essential workers can be first responders, health care workers, long-term care workers, utility workers and any employees of an essential business. - Las Cruces Sun News

The tests will be given in a drive-through fashion and people are asked to arrive with no more than 2 people per vehicle. No insurance is required to receive a test but, again, supplies are limited. First come, first served!
