The next time you go grocery shopping, be on the look out for a certain brand of granola bars that are being sold in Texas. The Food Drug Administration recently made an announcement regarding a recall on certain flavors of MadeGood Granola Bar products as they've been discovered to contain pieces of metal in them.

Thankfully no one has been injured but the FDA has made it clear to watch out for THESE products in the stores.

Which MadeGood granola bars are affected with metal substances?

A total of 8 different flavored MadeGood granola bars are being recalled from supermarket shelves:

  • The Chocolate Chip Granola Bars,
  • Chocolate Banana Granola Bars,
  • Mixed Berry Granola Bars,
  • Strawberry Granola Bars,
  • Cookies & Crème Granola Bars,
  • Chocolate Drizzled Birthday Cake Granola Bars,
  • Chocolate Drizzled Cookie Crumble Granola Bars,
  • and Chocolate Drizzled Vanilla Granola Bars

In addition to these 8, the FDA also is warning people about the Halloween Chocolate Chip Granola Mini Bars, the Chocolate Drizzled Granola Bars Variety Packs, Holiday Sprinkles Chocolate Drizzled Granola Mini Bars ,& the MadeGood Variety Pack products in their recall announcement.

The ones being recalled are the products that were produced between January & November 2024 & were distributed in Canada, United States & international markets.

Where can you find MadeGood products in Texas?

Using the official Find a Store link on the MadeGood Foods website (and by using popular zip codes through out Texas), they say that you can find their products in Whole Foods stores, Kroger stores Walmart stores, Albertsons, & select Target stores.
