The start of the new year was a celebration for us all, but for one El Paso Veteran, it was an even better celebration as he turned 101 years old and he celebrated in style!

On January 5th, 101-year-old war hero, Harry Perez Cerezo, was able to celebrate his milestone birthday at one of his favorite places, Hooters!

The World War II and Korean War veteran was surrounded by the vibrant Hooters atmosphere, with the cheerful Hooters Girls leading the charge in festivities.

Photos shared online show a smiling Harry with a special birthday cake and a few Hooters girls helping him celebrate the big 101. Other guests at this epic birthday celebration included family, friends, and The Veterans of Foreign Wars organization.

It was a heartwarming thing to see as the El Paso community came together to celebrate the remarkable life of Mr. Cerezo.

Aside from the delicious Hooters wings, Harry was also presented with a specially signed Hooters hat – a tangible token of appreciation for his incredible 22 years of service in the Armed Forces. As if that wasn't enough, the Hooters Girls treated him to a birthday serenade, making it a moment to remember.

Having earned the Purple Heart for his dedication and bravery, Cerezo retired in El Paso after his military career. And get this – this isn't a one-time celebration! Last year marked his 100th birthday bash at Hooters, and he's committed to turning this into an annual tradition.

Happy Birthday Harry Perez Cerezo. You’re a true American hero, still rocking it at 101, and proving that age is just a number when you're celebrating at Hooters!

Well, now I want to celebrate my birthday at Hooters! Brb, planning my November birthday party in advance!
