‘House of 1000 Corpses’ is Coming to Celebrate 20 Years to These El Paso Theaters
First off, can you believe that it's been 20 years since the release of Rob Zombie's directorial debut? House of 1000 Corpses came out in 2003 and has since started a cult following of the Firefly trilogy.
House of 1000 Corpses spawned two more films, Devil's Rejects and 3 From Hell. While Devil's Rejects is a great sequel- I would say you can skip 3 From Hell. But neither of those compare to how explosive House of 1000 Corpses was. And now, you'll get to relive the experience in theaters when the Rob Zombie film gets rereleased for its 20th anniversary.
Fathom Events will be hosting the special 20th anniversary screenings on October 8 and October 11 at both Cinemark 20 & XD at 11855 Gateway West (otherwise known as Tinseltown) and Cinemark East Montana at 12704 Montana. Each theater will have one screening each day at 7 PM. You can purchase your tickets here.
Each screening will have something special as noted by Fathom Events:
Four friends embark on a quest to find offbeat tourist traps across the country—bringing them face-to-face with the murderous Firefly clan, whose house of horrors harbors an urban legend that is all too real. Starring Sheri Moon Zombie, Rainn Wilson, Sid Haig, Walton Goggins, Bill Moseley, and Karen Black. Each screening includes an exclusive featurette by writer/director Rob Zombie, providing unique insight into his directorial debut and this cult favorite that almost didn’t see the light of day.
The perfect start to the Halloween season, especially since the movie actually does take place on Halloween. It's also cool for some of us who were too young to see it in theaters the first time around! To find out more info, check here.
