This Good Samaritan gave the shirt off his back to a homeless man on the subway in New York. Check out the video here.

A good samaritan only known as "Jay" showed how kind of a heart he has when he literally gave a homeless man the shirt off his back. The moment was caught on camera by Lazaro Nolasco and his girlfriend as hey rode the Brooklyn-bound A train around 10 p.m. on Friday night. Nolasco said that the homeless man didn't have a shirt on and he looked sick.

Jay took his shirt off and gave it to the homeless man, along with his hat. The good deed left the man with only a tank top to wear that night. Temperatures on Friday night were near freezing. Unfortunately in the video, you can't hear the conversation between the two men, but Nolasco was able to tell the New York Daily News what was said between the two.

Nolasco said that Jay asked the man if needed a shirt, and he said yes. Jay didn't hesitate to remove his shirt and hat and give it to the man. After, he asked the man if he wanted to go to the hospital, which the man again replied yes.

When asked why he recorded the encounter between the two men, Nolasco replied,

“The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it. I would tell him, ‘God bless him.’ That was thoughtful.”

Nolasco got off the subway before the two men. It is unknown what happened to them. Since the video was posted on Facebook, it has now received almost 13 million views and 260,000 shares.
