Gavin Kish & El Paso Steal the Show in this Jarritos Commercial
If you've lived in El Paso, Texas, you quickly can become well acquainted with the city. Especially if you see El Paso on tv. Recently the city was featured on a Jarritos commercial starring an El Paso rising star in the skateboarding world: Gavin Kish. The best part is; we know ALL the main locations that were shown in the commercial.
Which Jarritos commercial featured El Paso?
Back on July 14th, Jarritos uploaded a minute & 30 second video of Gavin overlooking the view of El Paso from Scenic Drive & he hears a bottle of Jarritos be opened. He looks through the view finder, spots the vendor, and proceeds to head through town to get a bottle for himself. After fighting masked men on his journey through El Paso, he's finally able to enjoy a bottle of Jarritos for himself.
So now you've seen the video, you might be wondering "I know that spot...where did the heck was he???". Well thanks to our expert investigator (aka our engineer Michael Rivera), we were able to pin point practically every noticeable building or location in El Paso.
First we start off on Scenic Drive, (nice shot of the Murchison Roger Park sign)
Then we spot the vendor at the Firefighters Memorial Park; you can tell by this Google Maps screenshot.
We then see Gavin showing off his skills at the El Paso Green Bowl, located on Piedras),
Gavin is then grinding a rail in front of Loretto Academy which is proceeded by a shot of a masked police officer around Bassett. You can tell because the shot of Gavin shows the Circle K, Burger King & Starbucks that are right behind it & the David Bridals that's off of Geronimo.
Afterwards we see Gavin do a trick off a truck at Dumpsville Auto Stylin on Montana,
Gavin then steals a taco from another masked man leaving Taconeta.
We can confirm it's Taconeta judging by the red building just up the street.
Then there's a nice shot of Gavin skating in front of Sunset Grocery on Mundy Dr,
He then heads down W Missouri Ave & performs a trick off on I-10. The section of I-10 that's just before you hit Downtown.
We then see him skate through Sunset Heights before finally stopping at the corner of Durango & San Antonio around the Union Plaza where he finally gets his drink. Fittingly on the ground it says "home".
There were way more spots in El Paso then I expected from watching this commercial; we certainly thank Gavin for showing off El Paso in this latest commercial & raise a toast to his career.
