Winterfest officially kicks off on Sunday Nov. 18 in Downtown El Paso! Every year we look forward to the official kickoff to Winterfest with the Celebration of Lights Parade and tree lighting and this year is no exception! On Sunday Nov. 18, festivities begin at 4:30 P.M. with the First Armored Division Band. The parade begins at 5:55 P.M. on Texas Ave. so as usual, El Paso, plan to get there early to save your spot! You can check out the schedule and map here.

The Celebration of Lights isn't the only thing that Winterfest is bringing back, this year the "Free Holiday Movies Series" returns to the Plaza Theater for the third year! Now, I may love horror movies, but holiday movies are just as exciting for me, especially if they're shown at a beautiful theater like the Plaza! Along with the holiday classics you'll also get to enjoy some classic organ music before the feature! Check out the schedule below and make plans to attend the FREE Holiday Movies Series at the Plaza!
