Area 7-11 stores have been collecting new and used clothing. Tomorrow, at the coliseum, it will all be given to El Pasoans in need.

The fourth annual Sharefest event is tomorrow at the El Paso County Coliseum. Organizer Barney Fields told the El Paso Times that El Pasoans were very generous this year and they hope to help 5,000 people Saturday. He also told EP Times that:

people can expect to find about 200 tables, arranged in 10 rows, and piled high with donated items. The items are for all ages and sizes. Most are used but some are new. "In addition to clothes, there will be coats, blankets, toys, purses, shoes etc." "Also, everyone will be offered free sacks of rice and beans."

The event begins at 8am tomorrow, (10/22/16). Pedestrians can enter via the Boone Street gate, vehicles may enter through the Shelter Street gate and volunteers should use the Delta Street gate. For more info, contact Barney Fields at (915) 313 - 5618.
