Death Star Meets Steel City: El Paso Loves the Raiders & Steelers
El Paso is Cowboys Nations...we know that. But that's not the only fan base that's HUGE in the Sun City. Two of the biggest fan bases you can find are easily the Las Vegas Raiders & the Pittsburgh Steelers. That fact was definitely felt over the weekend when both teams fought against each other in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium.
I've always wanted to see the Steelers play in person & that finally happened on September 24th; Week 3 in Vegas: Pittsburgh Steelers would take on the Vegas Raiders. Being AT the game, it was clear that the Steeler fans came out in DROVES to see & support their favorite team (just watch the highlights & you'll see so much yellow, white & black in the stands).
The same was LEAVING El Paso to the game; for every Raiders fans heading to the game there were 3 Steelers fans going too. And if you saw the game, you know which fan base was extremely happy at the end...
Where are the best places El Paso fans can see Steelers & Raiders games?
I know travelling is very expensive though & while it would be AMAZING to see every game in person, for the most part that's hard to do. So if you're NOT able to go in person, there are places you can watch the games anytime you want to.
For Steelers fans, there are two big places you can go check out:
- King's X on 4119 Mesa. That's where the Steelers Nation Fan Club hang out.
- Another place is Moose Draft House 1550 Hawkins. That's where the 915 Steelers Fan Club hold their watch parties.
No matter where you watch the games, remember to have fun & drink responsibly.
