Last month it was announced that local legend Jim Ward (from At the Drive-In & Sparta) was going to be going on tour with Thrice in the fall. Well that's not the only show he has announced for 2021, he's got one right here in El Paso.

After the events last year, Jim Ward announced back in April that he was working a new album & released 3 singles every month up until "Daggers" was released last month: "Paper Fish", "I Got A Secret" & "Foreign Currency".

I got to interview Jim Ward for Q Connected last month shortly after "Daggers" was released & I know he mentioned about the possibility of going back on tour, especially since last year halted everything. He didn't mention about going on any lengthy tours HOWEVER, he does have a few shows lined up in September with Thrice on the 24th, 25th, & 26th. And he announced another show RIGHT HERE in El Paso.

After his shows with Thrice, Jim Ward will be coming back to El Paso to perform here at home September 28th at the Rockhouse Dive Bar Kitchen & Venue, 9828 Montana. And he's not alone. Jim will be performing along side with another local legend, Emily Davis & The Murder Police, who ALSO released their new album last month. Tickets run from $15- $18 & you can get your tickets for the show right HERE.

While there's no mention about any major tours happening this year, it IS nice to see Jim Ward going back on stage to perform, especially right here in El Paso.
