The Pink Floyd axeman offered a stunning tribute ... without saying a word.

Pink Floyd singer/guitarist David Gilmour played Sunday night at the Royal Albert Hall. During the Pink Floyd classic, "Comfortably Numb", he did an amazing tribute to Prince.

Corey Glover's tribute to Prince was my favorite up until I saw this one. Since Prince passed away last week, there have been many but, this one is the best. Gilmour neither says nor sings anything. His guitar says it all as the solo transforms into "Purple Rain" and the lighting goes purple.

Watch the entire video but, if you're boss is about to come back or, you're otherwise short of time, skip to 4:20 - ish and start there. Gilmour performed "Purple Rain" (at least) once before, back in the 90's, with Tom Jones.
