Cody Decker in El Paso Saturday for Baseball Film Screening

Cody Decker is coming back to his favorite city this weekend. The former player for the El Paso Chihuahuas will be in town for a screening of a film he was prominently featured in. Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel is a behind the scenes look at their run during the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Decker played on the team and he created a giant Mensch on a Bench, which became their mascot. The team was made up of former Major League and Minor League veterans, and chronicles their journey to Israel and later Seoul, where they competed in the WBC.

The 91-minute documentary will be shown Saturday evening at Temple Mount Sinai, 4408 North Stanton Street. Decker will attend the screening, and all proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the new security detail at Temple Mount Sinai.
