The eighth annual Chalk the Block took place in downtown El Paso this weekend, highlighting the crazy talented artists that call the Sun City home.

The event featured unique art installations throughout the art district, including the sidewalk chalk pieces by artists. Attendees also got to get in on the art action by drawing their own creations throughout downtown in chalk.

The free event, which according to its website sees about 32,000 attendees each year, also had music, performances, food and local artists selling their work.
