Meet The “Other” KLAQ Air Staff

So, you think you really know the KLAQ air staff well? I wouldn't be too sure, apparently we have alter egos out there ... make sure you've got the right person

They say everyone has a doppelgänger, that's a lookalike or a twin, roaming around somewhere in the world. I used to get Steve Perry, Joey Ramone and Viggo Mortensen, (as Aragon), a lot.

These aren't exactly our "twins" but they do have the same names. They may not be lucky enough to look like us but, God bless 'em, they found careers that pay a LOT better.

I was googling around and a name came up that was the same one I was searching but not the same person. That sent me down the rabbit hole of searching names of people I knew to see what I'd get. Here's how The Q airstaff came up:

Kevin Vargas - He's on the air and, behind the scenes, a very cool boss. When he's not on the air, directing station operations or yelling at Buzz, he's apparently doing pretty good as a major league baseball player. Check out his alternate here.

Speaking of Buzz Adams

Buzz Adams, along with the rest of the Buzz Adams Morning Show ... aka "The Adams Family" , they're creepy, kooky and ooky all right ... has been bringing your morning mirth for years.

Unbeknownst to us, it seems he's also become a very successful Doctor and instructor. Check out his alter ego here. Our Buzz may also be a hypnotist as, despite his recent termination, he's still at it on KLAQ.

Daniel Paulus

Daniel Paulus recently went from full time on air personality to part time on air, full time producer. Despite that upgrade, he's still not doing as well as his big shot, CEO, uber rich alternate. (We probably ALL should have tried following the path of Daniel 2.0.)

Glenn "Dubba G" Garza

Glenn Garza - Not a lot of "Glenn Garza's" out there but I did finally find this guy. A systems analysis for some aerospace and defense company. That Dubba G, unlike yours truly, has a haircut and a real job.

Funny thing is, while there aren't too many Glenn Garza's out there, every time I try to use "Dubba G" as a username, I have to be "Dubbag10,000 - something  Weird.

Mike Rivera

Mike Rivera - Mike's a relatively new voice, filling in on KLAQ here and there but mostly helping on our partner station, KSII. He's also our engineer, tasked with keeping everything working right around here.

Meanwhile, his alter ego is the head coach for the El Paso Rhinos and, in his spare time, plays pro baseball.

I couldn't find a Joanna or a Nico ... guess they broke the name mold with those 2.
