After 20 years, the Las Cruces Barnett Harley Davidson location is closing its doors.

The Las Cruces Barnett Harley Davidson location will officially shut down for good on September 30th, 2020. Kimberly Barnett posted the news on the Las Cruces Barnett Harley Davidson Facebook page:

TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS AND MANY FRIENDS OF BARNETT’S LAS CRUCES HARLEY-DAVIDSON,

IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT I MUST INFORM YOU WE WILL BE PERMANENTLY CLOSING THE DEALERSHIP IN LAS CRUCES ON SEPTEMBER 30TH. WE ARE SO APPRECIATIVE OF YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS AND IT HAS BEEN OUR HONOR TO SERVE YOU.

ALTHOUGH OUR DOORS WILL CLOSE, OUR EL PASO DEALERSHIP DOORS ARE, AND WILL REMAIN, OPEN TO SERVE YOU.  (Read the full announcement here.)

The economic impact of COVID-19 was a major factor in the decision to close. For now, the Las Cruces Barnett dealership and shop will be open Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm and Sunday from 10am - 4pm. (The service department is not open on Sundays or Mondays.) If you have questions or would like to schedule a final service at the Las Cruces location, call (575) 541-1440.

The El Paso Barnett Harley Davidson, located at 8272 Gateway East, will remain open as usual. You can reach them at (915) 592-5804 or (800) 453-1513.

If you are looking for a nice holiday weekend ride, The El Paso HOG chapter will be heading to Hatch, Hillsboro and Silver City tomorrow morning. Riders will meet at the Howdy's on Loop 375 & I-10 East (7001 S Desert Blvd, El Paso Tx.) on the Westside by the Outlet Mall at 8am. Kickstands up at 8:30am!
